Process flow

We use the investment casting process (also known as lost wax precision casting). Lost wax casting uses wax to make a wax pattern of the parts to be cast, and then coats the wax pattern with mud, which is the mud mold. After the clay mold is dry, place it in hot water to melt the wax mold inside. The clay mold that has melted the wax mold is taken out and then baked into a pottery mold. Once baked, the pouring port is usually left when making the mud mold, and then the molten metal is poured into the pouring port. After cooling, the required parts are made.

Advantages of Investment Casting

Materials that can be produced,Stainless steel (304 316 17-4 304L 316L 201, etc.), carbon steel (Q235 45# 10# 20#, etc.), alloy steel (42CrMo 4Cr13 Cr12 4140, etc.), copper and other materials

It can cast various complex castings. The minimum diameter of the holes that can be cast on the castings can reach 0.5mm, and the minimum wall thickness of the castings is 0.3mm.

The dimensional accuracy of investment castings is relatively high, generally up to CT4-CT6

The surface finish of investment castings is higher than that of general castings, generally reaching Ra.1.6~3.2μm

According to the product structure, attributes and back-end requirements, the product is analyzed and a complete DFM report is formed, and then the mold is designed, including feed inlet design, shrinkage settings, etc.

Casting blank production

After the product is cast and processed into shape, it undergoes different surface treatments according to the use environment and the customer's special appearance requirements. We have a complete supply chain for common polishing, sandblasting, electroplating, oxidation, painting and other treatments.

We have processing equipment such as CNC lathes, engraving machines, turret machines, and machining centers, as well as testing equipment such as 2D and height gauges to ensure the processing accuracy and dimensional requirements of workpieces to meet customer drawing design requirements.

Altimeter

The marble table is equipped with a Swiss Danqing height meter, which provides hardware support for the height measurement of castings. The measurement height can reach 977mm with an accuracy of 0.4 microns.

High temperature machine

It is used to test the high temperature resistance of products and detect whether some thin and small parts will deform in special high temperature environments.

Two-dimensional measuring instrument

We provide technical support with two-dimensional measuring instruments for some key dimensions that cannot be detected by conventional measuring tools, and carry out dimensional inspections in strict accordance with customer-supplied drawings.

Casting appearance inspection

We will conduct a full inspection of the appearance of each batch of products to ensure that the product has a good appearance and is free of trachoma, pores, burrs and other undesirable appearances.

Spectral analysis

We have spectrometer equipment produced by China’s advanced factories. During product production, we conduct sampling testing of each batch of molten steel to ensure that the product composition meets customer requirements, thereby allowing customers to use the product in the required environment with confidence.
